OUR CO-OP MODEL

We are a group of people coming together cooperatively with the common interest of yoga, mental health and inclusivity in community. Every teacher pays rent to use the space and is responsible for the growth of their own individual brand and business. Think—salon model. The student pays the teacher directly. Everything the teacher makes, they take home. This is the farmers market model of yoga and mindfulness education. It stewards entrepreneurship, expression, art and individuality. This is the only model in the yoga world that supports the teachers in a sustainable way. Please honor the work your teacher does and pay them directly for what they offer. In a world of corporate yoga, this model and work is indispensable.

Payment

Class is 20$ per person, per class. Please pay your teacher directly via venmo, cash, or whatever form of payment you work out with them. Please pay before class. If you can’t afford to pay our class fee, please talk to your teacher. We will never turn anyone away as everyone deserves peace of mind and practice. But we do need the support to sustain our business and our special model. Thank you for your understanding as our teachers strive to earn an honest wage in Southern California.
